Composite Tube Services
CNG Virtual Pipeline - PA-MAE Insitu Tube Requalification
Hexagon Digital Wave has been granted SP20396 allowing Phased Array Modal Acoustic Emission(PA-MAE) pneumatic tube requalification. This allows for composite type III/IV tube requalification in lieu of hydrostatic requalification. Due to the length and diameter of these tubes it is inconvenient, if not impossible, to hydrostatically requalify them. PA-MAE provides for a cost saving alternative to hydro. Tubes can be requalifcied insitu without removal from supporting structure via using original gas product for the pressurization medium. This technology applies to most virtual pipeline module configurations. Please contact us for availability and pricing.
Tube Requalification -MAE
Hexagon Digtial Wave also provides for individual tube requalification services. Via our high throughput testing chamber we have the ability to requalify large volumes of individual tubes via traditional Modal Acoutstic Emission (MAE). This requalification applies to type I/II/III/IV tubes of lengths up to 40 feet. This service is provided via our SP16190. Please contact us for availability and pricing.
MAE Field Services and Consulting
Hexagon Digtial Wave supports a large staff of field technicians trained in multiple MAE testing codes. We are available for global application. In addition to expert feild test services we also provide for project consulting services. This includes at time of manufacture testing requirements, vessel requalifications in the field, professional witness services and insurance damage investigations.
