The UE1™ machine has been specifically designed for high throughput facilities testing all sizes of DOT, Transport Canada, and ISO seamless high-pressure gas cylinders. Cylinder throughput speed on the UE1™ can be up to 20 K size or up to 50 M6/Med E size per hour (actual results may vary).
Inspections at your site are handled by your tech trained by and operating under Digital Wave's guidance and special permits. Part of the installation process of our machines is an extensive training program for your operators. This facilitates a smooth transition of the new UE machine into your inspection process.
A dual claw handling system assists the high throughput of large cylinders, whereas manual manipulation is used for the loading of smaller cylinders. This allows for the inspection of all common size cylinder types from a single machine - not multiple machines as is found with competitors.
The UE1™ utilizes full immersion technology which provides the ability to scan through plastic labels and bonded paint. This helps prevent unnecessary rejections on draw marks and clear coat scratches.
